Worship is at the heart of what we do. We gather for our main Sunday worship at 10.15 am every Sunday in both of our churches, where you will find a warm welcome.
Sundays at 10.15 am
(First Sunday Morning Worship)
Worship at St Michael's takes place in a lovely, traditional church building. Our worship reflects those surroundings, whilst having a fresh and contemporary feel.
Based around the Common Worship Communion service, services include a blend of hymns and songs, lively preaching and has provision for children.
Come and see what you've been missing - you will be very welcome!
at St Michael's
Wednesdays at 7.00pm
We have a dedicated group of people who love to come and share in holy Communion together on Wednesday evenings. The service is more relaxed and quieter but also thought provoking and a chance to step out of a busy working day and enjoy the peace that communion with Jesus Christ has to offer.
All are welcome to join us.
First Sunday in the Month
In the more homely and modern surrondings of St Aidan's, our worship has a distinctive and friendly ethos.
Again, we root our services within the Church of England's Common Worship Communion service. Dignified but heartfelt words, rousing singing and relevant preaching are at the centre of our Sunday gatherings.
Come and take a look - we look forward to seeing you here!
We offer a broad range of special services covering seasons such as Easter, Christmas, Harvest, Remembrance Day, Service of memories and many more.
Details of these one-off worship events can be found on the News pages here on our website, and are announced via church notice sheets and our monthly magazine.
Church Live at St Michaels
Sundays at 6.30pm
For those who enjoy a less traditional form of worship. Church Live is interactive and has included sung worship, stories, Bible teaching, art, video, group discussions, role play, games, quizzes, prayer walks, prayer stations, agape meals, guest speakers, meditations, cafe church and much more.
Our strap line is 'Anything Can happen' which enables us to be creative in how we express our worship and how we learn more about our faith from the bible.
Anyone is welcome to come to Church Live. Come and enjoy a cuppa with us.
